The technical communication team integrates and supports the social-collective struggle of UDAPT. It is made up of young people and volunteers from the affected communities who are trained to act as community communicators, collecting the stories of more than 30,000 people affected by the Chevron-Texaco oil pollution and disseminating news and information about UDAPT's activities.

In June 2016 the first training workshops for young people from the affected communities were held, in order to establish the communication team. From that date onwards, the team works to disseminate news and information on UDAPT projects on a daily basis.
