Our community-based environmental monitoring project with mobile technologies is based on the need to monitor the levels of pollution and environmental impact and to find solutions to the problems generated by extractivism.
The data and evidence generated through the use of technologies serve as instruments to strengthen the defense processes of the territories of the affected communities.
Maintain actively and permanently monitored the environmental impacts generated by Chevron-Texaco and other extractivist companies.

Put pressure on State and companies policies through the denouncement of cases of malpractice.
Thanks to the support of the Geography Institute of the University of San Francisco de Quito and the economic assistance of the NGO Hivos, in the first phase of the project six teams of monitors from the provinces of Sucumbíos and Orellana were trained in the following areas, in order to better detect damages caused by oil:.
